Hello! I'm
Davonna Lividini. I am the owner and chief editor at
Digitalegacies. I'd love to get to know you and help make a
special moment even more special with a Digital Greeting
Card or ensure that your precious memories will live
on for generations to come with a Musical Photobook
package.
I'm a 13-year veteran in
the Audio/Visual field. I'm a Graduate of Specs Howard
School of Broadcast Arts, in Southfield, Michigan, earning a
Television and Radio Production certificate in 1991. I was
trained in non-linear editing on the Avid Media Composer in
a course at the Wexner Center for the Arts, at Ohio State
University, in 1995. In 1997, I finished my under grad work
and received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Radio
and Television Communications, from Siena Heights
University, in Adrian, Michigan.
I was a producer and
editor for 4 1/2 years at Omnicom Cable/Continental
Cablevision in Canton, Michigan. At Omnicom Cable, my
editing work received many accolades and I was awarded the
Michigan Cable Television Association's Innovative Cable
Excellence (I.C.E.) Award for the spot "Sports Collage,"
which featured video and graphics from three local high
school sports programs edited to a 60-second music
bed.
I was the Assistant Editor
at Touchtone Images, in Canton Michigan for 2-1/2 years
where I prepared photo montages and intros for wedding
videos. It was fairly simple work I did then, but it
definitely gave me the itch to get really creative with
photo editing and a true love for creating montages that
touched people's hearts and memories. I was also the Video
Coordinator for Communispond, Inc. in Southfield Michigan,
working with fortune 1000 executives while I finished my
degree at Siena. After college, I worked with advertising
producers as clients at GTN, in Oak Park, Michigan.
The original concept for
the Musical Photobook was born out of frustration and
curiosity. I was in between jobs and frustrated in a less
than favorable job market at the time. There was some unused
bundled software for producing home movies for DVD on my
computer and it reminded me, in theory, of non-linear
editing and offered someplace to channel a little of the
stress of discouraged pursuits. After a few nights of seeing
the sun rise, I was empowered by memories of the very best
loved parts of creative jobs I'd had in the past and the
Musical Photobook was born!
A reawakened sense of
creativity followed, forming the ideas for The Digital
Greeting Card and the various Musical Photobook
packages. My family and friends have enjoyed watching that
creative process grow from a very simple cuts-only original
Treasure Chest to the creative style I'm known
for.
Now, the Musical
Photobook packages and the Digital Greeting Card
are ready for you. If you haven't checked out the sample
Musical Photobooks yet, please do! I can tell you they
have the power to make your Grandma's eyes glisten with
happy memories, get your Dad all warm and fuzzy and get a
big hug from your best friend. I'd love to be able to do
that for you!
Your past belongs to your
future.
Make sure it gets
there.
